FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (PAGE 2)

6.) How should I clean my bathtub after I have restored it?
We suggest that you use a neutral pH cleaner (available at most grocery stores) or simply use Palmolive™ or Joy™ liquid dish soap, just a few drops in a bathtub, 1/4 full with water and a white scrub pad only. NEVER use abraisive cleaners! They will only dull your shine. Also, do not use tile and grout cleaners over your newly restored tub, they will damage your finish and shine. Especially the new spray-on, no scrub shower cleaners.
7.) If my tub starts to become dull, what should I do?
First, give it a thorough cleaning, it may simply be soap film giving your tub a dull appearance. If this does not work, after thorough cleaning, and drying the tub, apply 1-2 coats of STEP 3's Gloss Enhancer, following the instructions carefully. This will restore any lost shine. If you don't have any Step 3 Gloss Enhancer left, you may purchase it from us!
8.) Can I change the color of my tub with the Bath Brite™ System?
No. The Bath Brite™ System is not a paint, but a specially formulated clear liquid.
What ever the color your tub is before the process is started, is the color it will remain, only new & beautifully restored!
9.) What if my tub has chips in it?

These chips must first be repaired before applying the Bath Brite™ System.
You can purchase porcelain touch up and chip mending kits at most hardware stores.

10.) What if my tub has the black metal showing through?
We suggest that you choose another option, such as refinishing or installing a tub liner.
The Bath Brite™ System only restores the shine and cannot replace any loss of color.
